Ar Tarn's woes continued with a comprehensive defeat at the hands of the Motormen. Mark Drake opened the scoring for Fords after 27 minutes with a header from an Ian Pearce free kick and four minutes before the interval they went further in front through Ben Foster who rounded the keeper after Chris Evans and Paul Currier set up the chance. When Drake set up Evans to add a 15 yard third five minutes into the second half the match was over as a contest. Pearce notched number four for the visitors after 65 minutes, scoring at the second attempt following a free kick with Gary Evans scoring Desborough's 71st minute consolation after Marcus Townsend in the visiting goal let the ball slip from his grasp.
