Blackstones  3    St Neots Town  2

Saturday, 29 October 2005

Blackstones extended their unbeaten run to five games after producing the comeback of the day to stun the Saints. The visitors took early charge of the game with Gary Walker converting a Steve Kuhne cross after 11 minutes and Kuhne scoring his 16th goal of the season six minutes later from a deep centre by Danny Griggs. Stones exploded out of the blocks at the start of the second half. Dean Foley, who had hit the post in the first half, cut the deficit after 47 minutes following a free kick and three minutes later Kevin Ainslie squared the match from Matty Doyle's pass. With the contest heading for stalemate Blackstones won it five minutes from time with Mark Wood the marksman from a corner.
