Eynesbury rediscovered their scoring touch to claim their second biggest away win since relegation four years ago. Struggling Higham were first on the scoresheet with debutant Paul Clark firing the Lankies into a 13th minute lead, but Rovers produced a speedy response with Peter Collins equalising four minutes later. Ricky Taylor gave Eynesbury a 36th minute lead which was extended further by fit again Paul Carey five minutes before the interval. The goals continued to flow in the second half. Collins scored his second after 54 minutes with Dave Kew replying for Higham three minutes later. Eynesbury finished strongly with Carey scoring his second goal after 69 minutes, Collins completing a first senior hat trick a quarter of an hour from time and Barry Albone completing the scoring with seven minutes to play.
