The sending off of Reds full back Lewis Travers for a second yellow card proved ctucial in deciding this exciting contest at Byfield Road. Woodford made a great start, taking an eighth minute lead through Russ Dunkley and adding a 20th minute second through strike partner Nicky Gordon. Defensive blunders allowed the visitors back in the match with Emile Aiken scoring for Broxbourne after 35 and 39 minutes. Ben Milner put Woodford back in front after 50 minutes before Travers was dismissed but the visitors soon made their man advantage count with a 58th minute equaliser from Lee Newman. With extra time beckoning an 88th minute Newman effort took Broxbourne through.
