The 1st half was a even affair half chances fell to each team but both keepers were not really tested.

The turning point of the game was 2 minutes into the 2nd half when Craig Hanlon rose unchallenged from a corner to put Bletchington 1-0 up. This seemed to take all the confidence out of Marstons game and a few of their players allowed their heads to drop. Bletchington went on to score two more goals one a fine solo effort from Andrew Mcmahon and the other from Andy White to leave Marston still searching for their 1st points of the season
