Northway started the game very brightly and had a strong first 10 minutes of the game and looked to make the early pressure count but Yarnton caught Northway on the break and the Northway goal keeper brought down the Yarnton striker for a penalty which was converted by Paul Skinner. Quickly after a superb strike from Ben Davies from outside the 18 yard box giving the keeper no chance. Yarnton then got their 3rd through a second penalty 25 minutes into the game. Northway were left stunned as they tried to get back in the game, just as they seemed to pick themselves up before Tom Gubbins grabbed a fourth just before the break.
Northway came out in the second half a already beaten side and Yarnton continued to play the ball around nicely. The scoreline then got worse for the home side when Yarnton helped themselves to two more goals. Northway missed a couple of chances before Kyle Pullen went round the keeper and scored to make the score 6-1. Yarnton then grabbed their 7th in the last few minutes of the game. A day to forget for the home side.
