Mansfield Road started the game slow with the visiting team having good possession and creating chances. The pressure eventually told when the hosts opened the scoring. MRFC failed to fully clear there lines  allowing a cross to come into the box for Louis Winkworth to unleash a lovely first time shot.

 

Second half, MRFC came out with much more fight than shown in the first half and instantly put pressure on the visitors. Midway through the second half a foul was conceded by Adderbury 25 yards out. Nick Talbot put in another excellent set piece for Dan Smith to score with a well directed header from 8 yards out.

Adderbury, although under pressure second half did create some chances through Ashley Wingrove but unable to find a way past the fantastic Henry Moeran in goal.

A point a piece probably the fair result from an entertaining fixture.
