A Battling performance saw The town come out on top. The game was evenly matched throughout but it was Watlington who took the lead probably against the run of play. Luke Yeulet capitalising on a mistake from the oxford centre half, calmly slotting the ball past the on rushing keeper. North Oxford were level a minute before the break, with a great individual goal from the impressive north oxford centre forward.

 

The second half was as evenly matched as first however Watlington were finally able to get start playing some creative football. A mistake at the back again, this time allowing Tom Lancaster to nick the ball and lob the stranded keeper. 2-1 Watlington.  Both teams had chances to score the next goal.  North oxford did not give up hope and pressed and pressed for the equaliser but it wasn't to be. Finally a minute from time, Watlington secured victory when Taylor's long ball evaded the north oxford defence, leaving Stevenson one on one with the keeper. The Watlington forward took his tally to 16 for the season calmly slotting past the keeper to make it 3-1.
