Kidlington started the game very bright and put the pressure on Northway right from the off. With a few good saves by the keeper and some last ditch tackles the Northway defence held out the early pressure. In the 17th minute Kidlington took the lead through a great strike from Max Dunmall from 20 yards. Northway continued to battle and didn't give Kidlington the time or space to play and should of converted a couple of chances. 0-1 at the break, from the kick off Northway had a great chance to equalise but Kidlington defended well and on the counter attack went straight up the other end and scored with a James Keller header. Both teams continued to battle well and in the 75th minute Kyle Pullen pulled a goal back from a tight angle. A few more chances missed by both teams and the game finished 1-2 to the visitors. Credit to the home side who battled well from start to finish against a very good Kidlington side.
