  •  Oakley were looking to continue their impressive unbeaten run in division 1 and started straight from the off with a few clear shots which sailed straight over the bar, both teams were getting the ball down and playing good passing football across the park with some nice flowing football and strong but fair challenges going in.

Old boys had a throw in deep in the Oakley half which was launched in from Daniel burrows to the six yard box for Daniel Jones to hit the ball straight in the roof of the net 1-0.

Old boys stood strong and held Oakley back in till the 44th minute when Jordan Rodgers struck an equaliser just before half time 1-1

Second half started with both teams having equal chances at both ends to take the lead with some good saves from Carl Burnham for Old boys and his opposite Andy Durndell pulling of a couple of one on ones.
Once again Daniel Burrows long throw was launched into the box on 58th minute for Chris wise to flick on and skimmed the cross bar.
Oakley started to push for the winner which eventually came on the 75th minute with a great strike from Jason Castello on the edge of the area rocketing into the Old Boys net 2-1.

Old boys had chances to equaliser but equally Oakley could of killed the game off, some very good football played from both teams and was the best football Old Boys have played all season and deserved to get at least a point from the game.

Oakley keep their impressive unbeaten run with Old Boys looking to try again this Saturday away at Oakley.
