Top of the table Bletchington were able to play on their pitch but came up against a Freeland reserve side,who they had earlier beaten, who fielded a much strengthened line-up. However the score stood at 0-0 at half-time.
After the break the visitors took a 2 goal lead before Bletch pulled one back with a penalty. Having to chase the game Bletch were open at the back and Freeland took advantage with two more goals to end Bletch’s 100% league record.
