Launton: Michael Woodward (2), Liam Clark, Kennington: Andy Dyer (2), Alex Crosby, Launton sports started this game under a new management team and started positively. Steve Wilson latched on to a Joe Deery through ball and was brought down by the on rushing Kennington keeper with the referee pointing to the spot. Michael Woodward dispatched the penalty to put the home team 1 up. Kennington responded well and equalised through Andy Dyer who fired an excellent shot past Launtons keeper. Launton again pressed forward looking to go in at half time on top and they were reward for this when Liam Clark fired in from close range to give the home side the lead once again. Launton started the second half slowly and it was Kennington who had the better of the chances and equalised through Alex Crosby who converted from close range. As Launton pushed forward looking for the winner Kennington were awarded a free kick on the edge of the 18 yard box and Andy Dyer stepped up and smashed the free kick in to the top corner. For the first time in the game Launton were behind but they fought back well and were awarded a second penalty when the ever threatening Steve Wilson was brought down again for the second time and again Michael Woodward scored from the penalty spot. On reflection both teams should be happy with the point.
