Watlington Reserves defeated higher-league opposition in this 7-goal thriller. With the scores locked at 1-1 at half-time, Watlington pushed into a seemingly unassailable 3-1 lead only for Marston Saints to rescue the game with 2 very late goals to make it 3-3 after 90 minutes. A deflated Watlington found new hope when Keith Woolfson broke through early in extra time to give Watlington the advantage once more. The home side suffered a few late scares before the end but this time held on to secure a memorable cup win.
