On a great afternoon for playing football and with the sun shining down on the hallowed turf both teams turned up to play attractive football. The opening exchanges were pretty even and it was Broughton who found the net first through James Castle. Five minutes later it was that man again James Castle extending Broughton's lead. Within a couple of minutes a superb free kick was converted by Alex Gardner to bring Enstone back in the game . Broughton then got number three when Craig Hale brilliantly finished to make it 3-1. Enstone didn't lie down and it was that man Alex Gardner chipping the ball in to give Enstone hope. Half time 3-2 to Broughton
The second half saw Broughton start to dominate but fail to break down some resolute defending by Enstone. With 20 minutes left Craig Hale got the fourth and his own second when he swivelled in the box and slotted home. Broughton then made a double substitution and it was one of the subs Sam Hankin who clipped in number 5. After several misses by Broughton it was another sub Steve Adkins that finished the scoring off. The game was played in good spirit throughout and was well handled by referee Andrew Hodges.
