Adderbury Park reserves surrendered a two goal lead to Launton Sports reserves, who went on to take all three points in this Division 2 encounter. Both teams started strongly, but it was Adderbury who opened the scoring after only 8 minutes, with a well-taken goal from Tom Green. Launton went close on a couple of occasions in reply, but Charlie Meredith added Adderbury’s second goal after 25 minutes. Half-time 2-0.

The second half was a different story, with Launton putting the pressure on Adderbury, as the visitors fought to get back into the game. Launton were rewarded after 20 minutes with a fine goal from Matthew Hunt, followed five minutes later by the equaliser from Steven Wilson.  With everything to play for, Adderbury Park put everything into getting their third goal, but it was Launton Sports who clinched the victory with a second goal from Wilson 10 minutes from the final whistle.
