Stonesfield: Martin Hall
Marston: Mark Gaul

On a calm early Spring afternoon, Stoney entertained a Saints side who were both fighting for 3 points in an ever increasing tight league.
Saints came out of the blocks flying, pressing and using there long ball into the channels to good effect. They were rewarded with a well worked goal after 15 minutes ending with Mark Gaul tapping home. This sparked the lacklustre home side into life, Scot Lambourne smashing a 30-yard volley against the underside of the bar. 10 minutes later it was level, Tim Wyatts mazy run and shot was saved and fell kindly to Martin Hall who had the easiest of tap ins. Though no more goals, Stoney began to exert pressure but were lucky when Saints should have done better when through. HT 1-1.

The 2nd half was pretty much one way traffic as Stoney pressed. Tim Wyatt going close on 3 occasions with glancing headers and Hall heading over after great work from Wyatt. At the other end, Saints clipped the post I'm search of a winner. A point not really what either team wanted but will take.
