Hinksey: Neil McMahon (3), Alex Fasoranti, Sean Flaherty (2)

Kennington: Husam Ali (2),

AFC Hinksey keep up their winning streak as they brushed aside Kennington United coming out 6-2 victors in this Premiership tie.

Neil McMahon, making his debut, opened the scoring linking up with fellow Celt Sean Flaherty, the latter cutting the ball back and McMahon smashing the ball into the bottom corner. This set the tempo of the game and Hinksey set up camp in Kenningtons half. McMahon then turned provider when he powerfully headed the ball goalwards from a Jerome "Boomer" McCalmon corner. As the ball was going to be cleared Alex "Flexy" Fasoranti over head kicked the ball into the net. As Hinkseys dominance was bringing Kennington to their knees Craig "Corpsey Blue" Bloomfield dinked a lovely ball over Kenningtons defence to McMahon who chested the ball down to Flaherty who blasted the ball on the half volley straight into the goal and past the helpless Nick Hill. As the half was nearing an end. Triston "Tricky" Lawrence played a devilishly wicked diagonal ball onto Kenningtons keeper, Nick Hill, and when he and Luke "Nose" Bremner challenged for the ball Hill came out sporting a black eye and having to leave the field of play unable to continue. The second half ended 3-0 and Hinksey were looking rampant.

The second half started more even and Kennington seemed determined not to be over run. With the ball being evenly shared Micah "Chocolate" Roachford made a toe punt clearance straight over the top to Flaherty who rushed in on goal and as the stand in keeper closed him down he chipped the keeper, Messiesque, to make it 4-0. With this Hinksey became a bit complacent and Kennington capitalised when Husam Ali headed in from a Rob Andrews cross. This gave Kennington a glimmer of hope which was soon taken away from them when Lawrence whipped a ball across the 18 yard box
Flaherty heard Constant he dummied and in turn Constant heard McMahon who also dummied the ball and McMahon was left with the simple job of placing the ball past the keeper and into the back of the net. This still didn't stop Kennington trying to claw themselves back into the game and as they played for pride Ali lost his marker and smashed the ball in off the cross bar. With the score at 5-2 McCalmon stupidly got sent off for a second yellow for a deliberate hand ball. With Hinksey already bringing on Craig "Bolty" Hambridge for Bremner and Martino "Spacehopper" Ventriglia for Fasoranti they'd used their only two substitutes available so when Flaherty had to come off injured straight after McCalmon dismissal Hinksey were reduced to nine men.
You would have thought Hinksey would have got all nine of them behind the ball but thats against Hinkseys cavalier beliefs and despite the lack of numbers on the pitch Hinksey still had a goal in them. Ventriglia played a pin point cross pitch ball to Constant who bought the ball down with an exquisite touch he then beat a defender and smashed the ball against the post and fortunately McMahon was on hand to put the ball into the net and claim a hat trick on his debut to round off his man of the match performance leaving Hinkseys management pleased that they'd signed him. Hinksey must now look like serious contenders to reclaim their Premiership title and with their current form and games in hand they're slowly climbing up the table.
