Adderbury Park  1    Bletchingdon  5

Saturday, 06 December 2008

Adderbury Park started well, and were rewarded for their efforts after only 5 minutes of the game with a goal from James Trevitt. However, whilst the home team continued to push for a second goal, and Bletchingdon defended doggedly, the first period ended with Adderbury Park leading 1-0.

Bletchingdon started the second half much more positively, and levelled the score after only 7 minutes of play. Adderbury Park players began to give the ball away far too easily, and, a few minutes later Bletchingdon netted their second goal to lead for the first time in the match. The home team now seemed to have lost their confidence, and all belief in themselves, and Bletchingdon capitalised on this, scoring a further three goals in the last ten minutes of play to clinch the match at 5-1.
