Adderbury Park  1    Marston Sts  1

Saturday, 29 November 2008

The first half of the game was evenly matched, with neither side dominating. In the 27th minute Marston Saints capitalised on a well-taken free kick from 30 yards out, which was headed home by John Hudson, and the first period finished with the visitors ahead 1-0.

Adderbury Park played much better football in the second half, and bombarded Marston Saints with attack after attack, but could not break down Marston’s dogged defending.

Craig Bagnall scored with a deflected shot with less than 10 minutes of the game remaining, and the match finished 1-1.
