The shake up of the league set up saw two teams finishing in the top three in the season past, this game would be a six pointer in a campaign where the aim must be to stay up.  The setting the manicured playing fields of Pressed Steel.
An on song Horspath team buoyant from the taste of victory in the weekend prior pressed hard, creating the first chance a well hit drive superbly tipped around the upright by OUP's flying keeper.  OUP where very much in the game, but a resilient Horspath back four reducing their chances to speculative shots from 30 yards and more. The teams ran in at half time with a level score line 0-0.

Horspaths captain and central midfield player John Maskins leaving the field at half time certainly a reason for the opposition to gain hope. A fine run and Beckham'esq strike from James Beasley a reason for the home team to raise there's, 1-0 Horspath. A patchy game ensued, as always at 1-0 the game could switch at any point, relief for Horsath with a well earned goal for Horspaths hard working striker Ian Beltcher, following a string of chances the ball hitting the back of the net with a hard low drive, game over.
