A large sun drenched crowd witnessed the local derby match between Hardingstone and Mereway United played at Far Cotton Rec. The two teams couldn’t be separated as the points were shared with a 1-1 score line. In an end to end game Hardingstone went ahead with a Charlie Wixon penalty however Mereway equalised within minutes as Adam Barrett slotted home for a well deserved point.
