Defensively Chew Magna were brilliant again, with King and Smart playing excellently with Boucher and Filer also playing out of there skin. Chew started well, keeping possession and getting some good opportunities through Pearce and McClellan. The midfield pairing of Chard and Kirk seemed to be working well again against a three man midfield, everything in the air being won by Chew and knocking the ball wide for the two wingers. Several free kicks and corners saw Chew mounting pressure on Littleton, with Kirk going close on one occasion.

Chew were helped by going down hill in the first half and were playing excellent football, however lacked any real bite upfront. Hodge and Bartlett were linking up well but never seemed to create any clear cut chances in the first half chances.

Second half saw Chew Magna attack up the hill. Again playing good football, but were always at danger of the ball over the top and running away down the hill. But the defence kept Littleton at bay as they mounted pressure through the centre of the park, as the Chew midfield were now being over run by the extra man that Littleton "seemed" to have. Chard leaving the field injured was replaced by Fran George who; bought some excitement to the game, taking the ball wide on several occasions creating chances in the box.

With 5 minutes to go, Kirk left the field injured to be replaced by Adam Thomas. The Chew midfield continued to be over run but on 3 occasions Chew counter attacked and clear cut chances to take the 3 points home to the Bear and Swan, but lack of concentration saw these 3 chances blundered. Only for Littleton to go down to the other end and volley home a goal in the last minute. Damn and Yay! Were the feelings of the 2 teams.
