LITTLETON SPORTS 1 COLEFORD ATHLETIC 6

Coleford's impressive start to the season continued with a six goal demolition of Littleton Sports. The home team started the brighter a header flashing just wide of the post. The visitors had to reorganise with midfielder Ki Rashleigh hobbling off in the first minute but scored with their first attack, Lance Cray slotting home after a corner. Cray then headed his second from a Les Allen cross as Coleford took control. Charlie Walton had a chip headed off the line but Littleton were always dangerous on the break through Justin Dowling's pace. The third arrived just before half time Dan Reynold's drive deflected over the keepers head.
Littleton again started the half the better Dowling passing when well placed to score then should have done better pouncing on hesitation in the Coleford defence but hitting the side netting. The visitors then settled and again took control, Cray heading narrowly wide. With fifteen minutes remaining a needless penalty conceded by Allen gave the home team hope as Ashley Young slotted easily home. Charlie Walton sealed the game with two rapid goals finishing superbly after a mazy run, then scoring emphatically from an Adam Cray through ball. Lance Cray's well deserved hat trick was completed in the last minute with Coleford's sixth goal. Man of the Match was Lance Cray.
