The appeal was dismissed at the discipline meeting on Monday. 

The committee felt there was more evidence to suggest an ineligible player had been fielded than not.

The referee who raised that matter was deemed more neutral than an opposition player.

It was felt there needed to be more proof that you didn’t field an ineligible player and in these circumstances with a neutral party something like a VEO or cameras would have been one of the only ways to disprove the allegations.

The points will be adjusted and a fine issued for fielding an ineligible player.
