MARSH RANGERS F.C. ... TOP OF DIVISION ONE .

Actual Soccer pushed Marsh Rangers F.C. almost to the limit in this exciting div one match . Marsh had to dig deep into their resources to pull back from a 2- 0 half time deficit and finally come off 3 - 2 winners .

Actual Soccer started the more lively side and created a number of problems for the usually sound Marsh defence . Youth & enthusiasm , with quite a lot of skill , gave Marsh a torrid time and limited Marsh to very few chances at the Actual Soccer goal . Marsh tried to push forward but often found themselves being hit swiftly on the break , and having to back peddle as their opponents attacked in numbers .

Actual Soccer played skilfully as a team and worked very hard for each other . They breached the Marsh ranks twice with well taken goals by S BOUJETIFF & R DENYS and came in worthy leaders at half time .

David Campbell ( Marsh Manager ) was not a " happy chappy " and made some tactical & substitute changes .

From the start of the second half Marsh looked a different side . Peter Muller & Matthew Hoyle started to dominate the midfield , whilst the addition of Steve Haughey added more options to the forward line . Matthew Fletcher made darting runs down the wing often whipping in telling crosses which now put the Actual Soccer defence under extreme pressure . Shaine Thomson never stopped running & closing down his opponents , whilst only now the Marsh defence started to regain its normal composure .

It was no surprise when Marsh scored . PETER MULLER fired in a shot from the edge of the box which gave the keeper no chance . This was soon followed by a looping 35 yarder , again from PETER MULLER , which soared over the keepers head and Marsh were level . Adam Ashby exerted extra pressure on the now tiring Actual Soccer defence with more wing play and Marsh were now firing on all cylinders . STEVE HAUGHEY cut in from the wing , dribbled "through" 2 players and rifled an unstoppable shot into the net from around 25 yards to put Marsh in front .

To their credit Actual Soccer never stopped trying to play football and forced a late excellent save out of Tony Dowding in the Marsh goal but Marsh finished the match the stronger and , with the other divisional results going their way ..... Marsh Rangers F.C. ended the day at the Top of the Table .
