Chipping Norton Town moved back to the top of Division One West with a convincing win in the Forest of Dean.

Chippy made the perfect start, going ahead on 4 minutes; Gary Wright?s cross-found Mark Dennis who scored from 5 yards. Chippy continued to dominate with Man of the Match John Crowford?s shot being well saved by Reid in the home goal. Top scorer, Robbie Wyatt then blasted over the bar from 10 yards while Andy Helby shaved the post on the stroke of half time.

Half Time: 0-1

Chippy made it 2 ? 0 in the 61st minute when Darren Mills drilled in a shot from 30 yards for his fifth goal of the season. The home side almost pulled a goal back through Warning but his effort was well saved by Jeremy Winter in the Chippy goal. Chippy scored their third and final goal in injury time the impressive John Crowford?s cross was headed in by Mark Odom for his 13th goal of the season.

Manager Phil Heath commented afterwards ?It?s a massive win for us today, I thought we played really well, Johnny Crowford was outstanding and we look forward to Bank Holiday Monday?s game at New College Academy".
