Two goals from striker Barry Flippance were not enough to give Pewsey Vale the points in their bottom of the table clash with Bicester Town leaving manager Steve Wootton still searching for first success.

It was a bad afternoon for Pewsey who went down to 10 men in the 42nd minute when defender Steve Bush was adjudged to have handled on the line to give Bicester their second penalty and Pewsey also had manager Steve Wootton removed from the dug out in the 2nd half for remarks made to the referee.

On the hour Bicester was pressing the Pewsey defence and a good chance fell to Ayris to complete his hat trick but he shot well over the bar. Flippance completed his double in the 62nd minute a good pass by Andy Olsen to Flippance who ran at goal to clinically finish to draw the Vale level. Wootton?s dismissal came with 15 minutes to go for his remarks to the referee after Ross Anderson was pulled down in front of goal.
