A very entertaining game was witnessed at Tile House Lane with Penn turning up with a much-improved team on past seasons.
Bakers started brightly with Lloyd Prince having three outstanding chances to open the scoring in the first 20 minutes but the Penn keeper Danny Wright was in superb form as Bakers were to find out throughout the game, the Penn team begun to find their form and pushed the Baker team back for long periods, with 35 minutes gone a well worked goal was smashed home by Ricky Wood as Penn opened their scoring and then on 44 minutes they made it 2-0 from Danny Robinson.

Bakers were a lot better after the break and Vinny Pryce was very unlucky to have a goal ruled out for a disputed off side on 48 minutes. Pryce did pull one back on 53 minutes with a well taken goal, Bakers kept pushing but could not get past the brilliant Danny Wright in the Penn goal.
This leaves Bakers near the foot of the table as Penn move up to 3rd.
The Reserves won 4-3 in the Berks & Bucks Junior Cup but had to come back from 3-0 down after ten minutes, with goals from Graham Sevel 2, Mark Wisneiski and Jack James.
