This was another keenly fought contest between two competent sides. Hatherley started brightly into the wind and Louis Mullen saw a shot go inches wide whilst Joe McCauley headed straight at the keeper. Lydbrook always looked to counter attack and used the wind to their favour when a long ball over the top caught the Hatherley defence square and Adam Ward raced through to force the ball past Rangers keeper Miguel Arkell. Their lead lasted just 15 minutes as 5 minutes before half time an Andy Stevens free kick was powerfully headed home by centre back Duncan Harvey to level the scores.
Hatherley had the upper hand in the second half with the wind at their backs but could not force a winner despite two one on ones which went inches wide from Louis Mullen and Jon Rosagro. Rich Smith had a fine game at centre half but Hatherley’s Man of the Match went to midfielder and Captain Matt Armitage
