Bradley Stoke  2    Stoke Lane  9

Sunday, 29 January 2012

In perfect playing conditions it was Stoke Lane who started the brighter putting the Bradley Stoke back line under constant pressure. Stoke Lane were passing and moving expertly and to an extent Bradley Stoke were chasing shadows but also working hard to close their visitors down. With all the pressure it still took Stoke Lane 20 minutes to score, after the first it was one way traffic and it was down to the Bradley Stoke keeper that the score at half time was low. Bradley Stoke were really off the pace for the first half and seemed somewhat heavy legged whereas Stoke Lane were right on their game and up for it.
Half time 6 – 0 to Stoke Lane.
In the second half Bradley Stoke got into their stride and became more involved. The half was more even play wise with both teams having plenty of chances, some taken some not. As the game went on Bradley Stoke were giving Stoke Lane some worries, especially on the left wing. Stoke Lane were well ahead on goals so were not worried that Bradley Stoke scored a couple. The game ended in a decisive win for Stoke Lane after their emphatic first half display.
