Stonehouse were glad to be back playing football after a seven week break. It took some time to get the game going and it was Nathan Beeches with a fine finish to put the home side ahead. Stonehouse went 2-0 up with a wonder strike 25yds out from Jacob Powell. The second half saw both sides have half chances but with an hour gone Churchdown pulled one back when the ball come off the Stonehouse defender but could not prevent the ball crossing the line according to the Referee. Churchdown got their equaliser with a superb struck free kick that hit the bar and the oncoming forward headed home with the Stonehouse keeper helplessly still rooted to the spot. Credit to both teams who played this game in a very good spirit.
