Whitchurch travelled to Henbury having lost 4-0 three weeks previous to the same opponents. The game did not start well for Whitchurch with Henbury taking the lead after 2 minutes, Dean Rutter coolly finishing after a mistake from Dale Ellis let Henbury in. Whitchurch came back strongly and equalised through Sam Noble after some good build up work from the Whitchurch midfield. Whitchurch then had Henbury on the back foot and took the lead through Harry Watkins Henbury stepped up a gear and came back at Whitchurch and levelled through Dean Rutter. This was all in the 1st half! The 2nd half was end to end football and both goalkeepers, Luke Cox (Henbury) and Jake Mason (Whitchurch) had outstanding games were unbeatable in goal. An entertaining match at Arnall Drive and a draw was a fair result but it could have been a 6 all draw with the number of chances missed by both sides. Man of match for Whitchurch was Jake Mason who was on debut.
