Wootton moved out of the relegation zone with an emphatic derby win over the Walnut Boys.

Craig Daniel gave Blue Cross a 22nd minute lead and he added a second for Wootton five minutes into the second half.

After that it was the Gavin Batt show as the former Kempston player sank his old club with a four goal salvo in the space of just seventeen minutes.

Batt opened his account on the hour and five minutes later he found the visiting net again.

Batt completed his hat trick with twenty minutes to play and rounded off the scoring after 77 minutes.
