Stones moved to within four points of leaders Stotfold with this win at lowly but improving Potton.

The Royals were closest to a first half goal when Matt Endersby fired against the post.

The game looked headed for stalemate until Dan Cotton popped up with the decisive goal, converting Luke Kennedy's through ball just five minutes from the end of the contest.
