The Cuckoos suffered their second home defeat of the season as Raunds bounced back from a midweek reverse to take the points at Leading Drove. James Fox scored the decisive goal after just two minutes' play, beating goalkeeper Jody Vincent to a through ball to slot home and lift the Shopmates into the top four. Mark Paul went close for Yaxley in the first half with the woodwork denying substitute Mark Kingston an equaliser after the interval, but a resolute Raunds defence held out to win the contest.
