The free scoring Reds overwhelmed one of their promotion rivals to signal a warning to the rest of the Premier Division title chasers. Neil King opened the scoring for Woodford on the half hour, and four minutes later Arron Parkinson added a second. Craig Pearman made it three after 48 minutes before the Robins replied on the hour through Bilal Hassan. Buckingham comeback hopes were quickly quashed by goals from top scorer Nicky Gordon on 70 minutes and Lewis Travers three minutes later. Reuben Max-Grant scored a Buckingham consolation two minutes into stoppage time at the end of the game.
