This top of the table clash finished in stalemate at The Hollow. After a goalless first half Paul Goodhand gave the Poachers a 63rd minute lead, collecting a loose ball, evading a series of challenges and firing home from distance, but the league leaders levelled after 78 minutes with Andy Carter netting for the Royals with a shot through a crowded penalty area. Boston keeper Nick Maddison made fine saves from Wes Byrne and Keith Coughlin to earn the visitors their point.
