On a hot opening day of the season both teams played some good end to end football.
 
Oxford Irish raced into a half time lead of 5-0 with goals from Sorcha MURPHY x 3 and Anna CARSON-PARKER x 2.
 
Hagbourne pulled a goal back early in the second half with a penalty after a foul in the box. Oxford Irish wrapped up the points with a goal from Linet WANJIRU.
 
Credit goes to both teams particularly Hagbourne who battled through the whole game to the final whistle with only 11 players.
