Directions: Exit A14 at A605 roundabout, travel towards Peterborough approx 700 metres to first roundabout. Take first exit into Thrapston. At traffic lights turn into Oundle Road adjacent to Masons Arms pub. Turb left into Devere Road, ground at bottom of hill.

History:
The club was founded as Thrapston Venturas in 1960, and they first played in the Kettering Amateur League. The club quickly moved up the ladder with a series of promotions and in 1967 they contested the Northants Lower Junior Cup final losing to Kings Sutton.
By the seventies Venturas were among the leading lights in local football. They dominated the KAL with championships in 1971, 1973, 1974, 1977 and 1978. They also won the Munton Cup four times, completing a double in 1971 and 1977.
A new challenge was sought in 1978 as Thrapston joined the UCL. They finished third in Division Two in their second campaign and were placed in Division One as a result of league organisation.
The club's first success on the county front saw the reserves win the Lower Junior Cup in 1981, the first team followed suit in 1989 when a 5-1 replay drubbing of Perkins Sports brought the Junior Cup to Chancery Lane. Further successes followed in 1999 when Bugbrooke were beaten in a penalty shootout, and 2004, the 3-0 defeat of Cottimgham at Nene Park bringing down the curtain on the lengthy managerial reign of Gary Petts.
The club changed ints name to Thrapston Town in 1995, and fortunes have been improved in recent years. In 2000 Town took the runners-up medals, their best performance in the league, and they have finished in the top five in each of the last three seasons.
The Chancery Lane ground has been the club's home since formation and was improved in the summer of 2006 by the installation of floodlights, with new dressing rooms and a stand following later in the year.
Second place in Division One in the 2010-11 season saw the club promoted to the Premier Division for the first time.
